Hapax Magazine Issue 3
For Hapax’s 3rd issue, I contributed a self-portrait collage project: The Education of the Tumblr Girl-now-Artist.
Hapax Magazine takes its name from the literary term ‘hapax legomenon’ describing a one-off, creative departure from an author’s oeuvre — something unique and new and ‘said only once’ in their practice. The magazine makes this idea visual by commissioning international lens-based artists and curators who are keen to test new ideas which depart from their previously established creative practice. The content will only be seen in its printed pages.
Issue 3 contains newly commissioned works by Amin Yousefi, Paulina Korobkiewicz, Immaculata Abba, Alexander Mourant and Helen Sear. With a new curation from Rica Cerbarano, bringing together work from Anthony Luvera, Gohar Dashti and Mentalgassi.
